1.   God builds the house.

·       Psalm 127:1 Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.

·       In Hebrew, “house” can mean a building, a household, a family line, or the Temple.

o   In Solomon’s case it was all four.

o   He was building a home for his family, a family tree that included Rehoboam, Taphath, and Basemath, and he was building the Temple

·       Yes, he was doing the work and the lead man on the projects…but it was God who ordained all of it.
