· But when we remember who God is we can give thanks in any situation.
o We know that God is the “first and the last—the beginning and the end”
o He is our strength and our Savior
o He is the only God, there is no other
o He is unchanging
o He is holy
o He is a teacher, friend and our redeemer
o He is all powerful and sovereign
o He is our shepherd and protector
o He is all we need
· In moments when life seems to be falling apart all around us…we can be thankful because we are held safely in the hand of the One who created it all.
o We can be thankful in sickness because He is our healer.
o We can be thankful in uncertainty because He is our guide.
o We can be thankful in grief because He is our comforter.
