· And today we are going to deal with…what I believe…is the critical turning point of the story.
o Everything hinges on this moment.
o The moment in verse 17 when these 6 words are spoken by Jesus… “When he came to his senses…”
· This moment has a name, and we talked a little about it last week, and that name is repentance.
o Non-church people just tensed up a little when I said that churchy word, because it sounds like judgment.
o It makes people think that you are about to be condemned for everything wrong you’ve ever done.
o Church people…when I said that word…may have just tuned out because you think you’ve handled this part already so you’re good.
