Sunday Morning Modern Service
For 2,000 years, one question echoed through Israel's history: "Where is the lamb?" Every sacrifice, every Passover, every altar pointed forward to one moment when John the Baptist saw Jesus and declared, "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world."
A shadow followed Jesus throughout His ministry—the shadow of the cross. But that shadow wasn't darkness; it was the gift of redemption. Every sin of humanity, bundled together with all its weight and consequences, was placed on His back and carried to Calvary. One sacrifice. Once and for all.
Here's the beautiful truth: we don't live in the shadow of the cross anymore. We live in the light of the resurrection. The stone rolled away, the tomb stood empty, and light flooded the world. Because of Easter morning, you can walk in freedom—forgiven, reconciled, and made new.
"Look!" Don't take your eyes off the Lamb of God.
