Believing God’s mission field for North Shore Church begins in Montgomery and extends around the world, we commit ten percent of our total budget to support mission projects as determined by our Missions Team. Beyond that ten percent, additional funds are given by members and friends to aid in specific projects. We are committed as a church to share the love of Jesus at home and abroad.

Casa de Luz (House of Light) - Dominican Republic - The House of Light is a Christian orphanage, a home for severely disabled children.  These beautiful children had been ‘discarded’ but were ‘adopted’ by Lucas and Tempora Carvajal, who gave them permanent residence in their home.  In existence since 1990, the Casa de Luz currently serves 38 children, with about twenty more on their waiting list.  Children receive health care, educational experiences, warm meals, clothing and a true family.   Local government and partner churches, along with individual donors and the North Shore church, share in the support of these children and the House of Light. Piercing Word – Lancaster, PA – The mission of Piercing Word is to ignite passion for the Word of God in the heart of the church.  We do this by performing scripture word for word in compelling dramatic presentations in order to challenge and encourage people to memorize God’s Word.  In addition we also offer Summer Theatre Camps, Spring and Fall Discipleship Teams and workshops on memorizing the Bible. Under Over Mission – Conroe, Texas – Our instructions for Under Over Mission are taken from Matthew 25.  We look for ways to feed the hungry and quench the thirsty, through sharing the gospel and meeting basic needs in individual’s lives.  We have a food pantry at the Mission and also serve meals on Sunday mornings at Heritage Place Park and on Wednesday nights at the Mission.  The meals are provided by local churches, our members and our church as well.  At Under Over Mission, we have established a clothing closet as well as free laundry and shower facilities at the Mission.  We also have a men’s transitional work program called The Way that ministers to men in house and strives to help them get on their feet and get right with Jesus.  The men of The Way and the women of Christy’s House make crosses of all shapes and sizes and are trained on our CNC router.  Our Underling Crosses are sold in retail stores like Lifeway Christian Stores and Books A Million book stores across the country. Gift Direct: www.underoverfellowship.com

Village Schools International – Tanzania, Africa – We partner with people in villages in Africa to help them build schools for their children, and then we send missionary teachers to live in those villages and to get so involved in the lives of their students that sharing the Gospel is the natural result of loving them.  We work towards the day when all children in every village in Africa, no matter how poor their parents are or even if their parents are already dead and can’t help, at the very least get the chance to go to school.  Gift Direct:  www.villageschools.org
